Photo 13 & 14 of my 365: Innocence & Morning Java

2 for today since I wasn't able to get out as much as I wanted to- this rain seems to be stubborn and we only got about 1/4 of a day's worth of sun.

Enjoy!

Photo 11 & 12: Playtime and Contemplating

So yes, due to stuff going on in my life, I missed a couple of days.  I will plug away. May not be an official 365 but I am still going to post each photo from the day that I feel is the best from all I took.  Or two, like today's post.

Enjoy!

Photo 9 & 10 of my 365: Look at Me & Loose Change

So I'm slowly getting caught up on posting my current photos- bear with me.  Been a little busy with life lately, as luck would have it.  Making it a point to get my camera out though and stay on track here.

Today's postings are of my daughter standing and a creative shot that I took of my daughter's piggy bank (or jar, whatever you want to call it.

As for Izzy, she is getting so good at standing and thought this one showed how proud she is of herself.  I know one day I will look at this and say 'ahhhh those were the days before she ran'

photo 8 of my 365: Quiet time

This my oldest with Grampa just before bedtime.  Taken with my 70-210mm- I find I go through stages with my lenses.  Right now, I seem to prefer the look of my photos through my zoom

Enjoy!

I've got Duckys in my Yard!

Okay so really my neighbors yard, but who notices?  This is Thelma and her hubby Theo, they are a very peaceful quiet couple, who love to go out for nightly strolls and quite stop for some tasty bread.

Photo 7 of my 365: Action

I love practicing my skill at getting action shots and my Weenie gives me plenty of oppurtunity to do so.  this was taken with 70-210mm lens.

Photo 5 & 6 of my 365: Playtime & Juno

so this time DIDN'T manage to mess up and erase my previous days photos, lol.  One is from when I took the girls up to Westminster School, allowing Aby to burn some energy.  This was just before we left, I thought it made a beautiful shot.

The second photo was from today, when I let my Dachshund out to play in the sun.  Best action shot of her so far.  Enjoy!

Photo 4 and 5 of my 365: Nature

So I did have a photo for yesterday but in my infamous forgettfulness, I managed to format my card without uploading the photos from that day.  So I have a double posting for today, both from a walk I went on with my 7 month old.  First are daffidils over by the Bakers Park sign while the other is a shot of Buell's Creek.

Enjoy!

Photo 3 of 365: Bird through the window

with this weather being very stubborn and cold, I decided to try and get some nature even though I didn't leave m my house.  Shot through my front window with my 70-210mm zoom lens.

Photo 2 of 365

The weather is again cold and dreary and with 2 children, I am again stuck inside.  Much to the excitement of my insanity.  Here is another shot of my 7 month old.  I do promise it won't be 365 photos of Izabelle...though that isn't a bad thing, as she is very photogenic.

Photo One of my Project 365: Baby

So I decided to take on the monumental task of 'Project 365'.  This would be my 2nd attempt but this time I am more dedicated to getting to the end.  And the goal was to post the first photo on Friday but got itchy and changed my mind.  So here is the first photo- an easy one as the weather is not playing nice today.

My Little 'Hood'Lum...

I love taking the time to take shots of my nearly 7 month old, as she so photogenic (where does she get that from???) and also the easier of the 2 to catch with my camera.  Here are some photos that I took today, in a pink hoodie that actually was purchased years ago for my first daughter.

Let sleeping dogs lie...and photograph them!

With the weather being so cold and dreary, I've been forced to take shot indoors.  My dogs and daughters always give me inspiration and here is a photo from recently.

Childhood- Samantha Ashby

Whenever my friend, Leigh-Anne, comes over, I've been quick to get the camera and to take shots of her kids.  She has a 2+ year old son and 8 month old (Leigh, forgive me if that is wrong, lol!) twin girls.  Here is a shot I took a while ago of Samantha- I feel in love with her wild hair that day.

Rough Housing

A couple of days ago, decided to test my cameras abilty to autozoom with my older Nikkor lenses.  Caught this moment of my 2 Dachshunds rough housing- no one was hurt but I loved how Lexie's teeth were caught in mid-action.  Taken with my Nikon D80 and my 70-210mm zoom lens, post-production in Photoshop CS3 and Lightroom.

Testing My Skills...

Using family can be a great way to improve your photography skills while not having to feel pressured to your best work for your client. Here is the best photo from a shoot that I did recently of my husband's step-sister's daughter, Sierra Moore.
